Great food and overall a very pleasant experience. The food was absolutely delicious — authentic flavors and very well prepared. You can really tell that quality ingredients are used. The service and atmosphere could be a bit more polished, but nothing that ruins the experience. Overall, everything was great and I would definitely come back for the food again. Highly recommended!

My friend and and I split a starter and a salad for lunch. Chebureki is a deep fried ground beef turnover that is delicious. The Fish Under Coat salad apparently had herring at the bottom, but the potatoes, carrots and shredded beets stop were so tasty that no fishy taste or smell came through. A lovely elegant restaurant worthy of return visits.

We returned to this restaurant because we recalled it was good and we needed a halfway meeting point for more distant friends. It was much better than good -- plav, dumplings, salad, borscht, lamb, all delicious. Service was unobtrusive but attentive. Quiet atmosphere with choice of tables. Really no complaints. Since this was a return, I was surprised to see some negative reviews of what for us has been a consistently positive experience. Maybe it was expectations (there are different styles of the same dish) or the kitchen had a bad day, but that's not been our experience.

I had good experience. I like that I had an option of where to sit. I got coffee and I like the small size that it comes in. I got cucumber tomatoes salad, which was good. I also got the piroshky which was disappointing. They are not authentic. Looked more and tasted like a croissant. Other than that it was good experience. Also was connected to a European market which I liked.

Rus-Uz is such a hidden gem! It’s cozy, charming, and feels like stepping into your Eastern European aunt’s kitchen — if your aunt also had a great wine list and perfect lighting. We started with the pelmeni (little dumpling dreams ) and they were so good — tender dough, flavorful filling, and that buttery sauce? I was living. The beef stroganoff was rich, creamy, and total comfort food heaven, and the chicken Kiev? Crispy outside, juicy inside, and honestly a star moment.

Sumptuous atmosphere, beautiful wall art, attentive and friendly staff who will make you meal a great experience without annoyingly announcing that “they’ll be taking care of you”. Each of the dishes dishes we tasted was authentic, well-presented, and tasty. We weren’t prepared to drink, but we’ll definitely be back to try a flight of vodka shots which sounded wonderful. There’s a small market next the the restaurant which has lost of Eastern European delicacies. The restaurant provides a 10% coupon for the market with your bill. Definitely check this place out!
